What are research peptides?
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids used in laboratory studies to investigate biological processes. They are intended for in vitro and controlled research settings only.
What is the legal status of research peptides in Australia?
It depends on the compound. Some peptides are listed in the Poisons Standard, and state and territory law controls who may possess or supply them; others are not individually listed. No product on this site is approved for human or veterinary use, and a 'research use only' label does not change a compound's regulatory status. Before ordering, check the current Poisons Standard and the law of your own state or territory; buyers are responsible for holding any authorisation it requires. Are Strand products for human consumption?
No. All Strand products are sold strictly for laboratory research purposes. They are not for human consumption, diagnostic use, or therapeutic application.
How do you ensure peptide quality?
Every batch has ≥99% purity and is independently tested. Products are stored and handled under conditions that preserve peptide stability. Certificates of analysis are published per product, vial size and batch; where one is not yet listed, it can be requested before ordering. See the certificates page.
How are orders shipped?
Orders are packed securely with temperature-stable materials where needed and shipped with tracking. In-stock lines are dispatched within 2 business days of payment confirmation; pre-order lines are placed with our manufacturer on payment confirmation and delivered within 14 business days. Postage is a flat A$10 Australia-wide, free on orders A$150 and over. When an order combines in-stock and pre-order lines, you choose at checkout whether to ship together or separately.
What is your returns policy?
Because peptides are temperature- and handling-sensitive, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds. If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will replace it at no charge. Read the full Returns & Replacements policy.
Who can purchase from Strand?
Strand products are supplied to researchers and laboratories for laboratory research use only. Every purchaser confirms they are 18 or older and that the products are for research use, on entering the site and again at checkout. We may decline any order where there is reason to believe the material is intended for human or animal use.
