Why Strand exists

Strand began with a simple observation. Australian researchers were paying import prices and waiting weeks for material they could not always verify.

We set Strand up as the local alternative. In-stock lines are held here in Australia and dispatched within two business days. Certificates of analysis are published by product and vial size. And you deal with an Australian business that usually answers email within 24 hours.

What we supply

Synthetic research peptides, peptide blends and related research compounds, supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed glass vials. We also stock laboratory supplies.

The catalogue lists 30 products across nine categories. Every vial size shows its own price and stock state. Out-of-stock sizes stay listed, with the option to pre-order or be notified.

How an order works

1. Choose. Pick a product and vial size. Bulk pricing applies on its own at 5, 10 and 20 vials.
2. Confirm. At checkout you confirm you're 18 or older and that the order is for laboratory research use only. Ordering for an organisation? Add its name, ABN and purchase-order number. All three are optional.
3. Pay. You'll receive an order reference and our bank details. Pay by Australian bank transfer using that reference, then upload or email a screenshot of the transfer.
4. Dispatch. Once payment clears we confirm by email. In-stock lines are dispatched within 2 business days, packed securely and sent with tracking. Pre-order lines are placed with the manufacturer on payment confirmation and delivered within 14 business days. Postage is a flat A$10 Australia-wide, free on orders of A$150 or more.

Our standards

Every batch we sell is tested by an independent laboratory that Strand commissions and pays for. The panel covers purity by RP-HPLC (≥99% on every lot released for sale), identity by mass spectrometry, net content per vial, endotoxin and water content. Each certificate names its lot, and the same lot number is on the box you receive.

Certificates of analysis are published by product and vial size on our certificates page. Where one isn't listed yet, ask and we'll send the documentation we hold for that lot before you order.

From arrival to dispatch

1. Arrives. Stock lands in Australia with its lot number on the box.
2. Tested. A vial from each lot goes to an independent laboratory for the full panel above.
3. Stored. Vials stay sealed and refrigerated until an order is packed.
4. Packed and shipped. Orders are packed securely and sent with tracking.
